Hyundai’s luxury vehicle division, Genesis, has unveiled the mechanical specifications for its first electric vehicle, the GV60. It was introduced in August of this year and comes in Standard and Performance models.
Speaking of specs, the e-SUV generates 483 hp of power on the AWD Performance model in Boost mode and offers a range of 451 km on the base RWD version.
The car can go 0-100 km / h in four seconds
The Genesis GV60 contains a single or dual motor and a 77.4 kWh battery with support for fast charging up to 350 kW.
The Standard model produces up to 314 hp / 605 Nm while the Performance version generates up to 483 hp / 700 Nm. In Boost mode, the latter can go 0-100km / h in four seconds.
The Standard version offers up to 451 km of range on a single charge.
It has a wheelbase of 2,900 mm
The Genesis GV60 features a sporty design with a black shield-shaped grille, sculpted hood, shark fin antenna, spoiler and split headlight as well as a rear light cluster.
On the sides, it’s flanked by roof rails, blackened B-pillars, sleek cameras instead of ORVMs, and 19/21 inch wheels.
In terms of dimensions, the four-wheeler is 4,515mm long, 1,890mm wide and has a wheelbase of 2,900mm.
It gets a feature-rich cabin
The Genesis GV60 offers a premium cabin with five color choices, leather upholstery, a multifunction steering wheel and a silver infotainment button.
It houses digital rear-view mirrors that display images from exterior cameras and an infotainment panel supporting the latest connectivity options.
The vehicle is also equipped with several airbags, parking cameras and ABS with EBD for passenger safety.
Genesis GV60: Availability
Genesis will announce pricing information for its GV60 electric car when it launches, which is expected to take place in the coming months. It will likely be available by the end of this year or early next year.
