Gwen Stefani appears in a purple faux fur dress and neon cowboy boots – Footwear News
Gwen Stefani waltzed down the hall on the set of ‘The Voice’ in a video posted to her Instagram yesterday.
The No Doubt member twirled her fans in a faux feather dress and vibrant shoes.
Making a statement, Stefani’s look consisted of a purple midi dress in a halter style adorned with lots of feathers that gave the garment a lot of textual and visual interest, especially as Stefani moved. The “Rich Girl” singer simply accessorized, letting the dress speak for itself, styling gold geometric hoops that also moved as she did.
Flattering her feet, Stefani wore neon green and black cowboy boots that hit just below her knees. The eye-catching style, while certainly not traditional, was outfitted with pointed toes, cow prints and sturdy block heels, around 2-4 inches tall, that allowed Stefani to stand tall.
Cowboy boots are a rustic Americana style of shoe marked by a pointed toe and raised stacked leather heel. Most commonly made of leather, the style has an upper that extends almost to mid-calf of the wearer. This style of boot often features artistic inlays and overlays as decorative elements on the upper and on the vamp.
When it comes to footwear, Stefani’s footwear complements her bold, glamorous, and eclectic personal style. For the red carpet and special occasions, the “Orange County Girl” singer often dons sparkly, embellished pumps and boots from top brands like Le Silla, Paris Texas and Casadei. She can often be seen in off-duty embroidered and fringed boots, hailing from Frye, Dsquared2 and Calvin Klein. For more casual times, the musician also dons comfortable shoes, including Vans sneakers and Crocs clogs.
